To protect against kidney disease, solutions that have remained unchanged since wartime, such as kidney transplants and dialysis, are still being used today. Recently, new medicines have been developed, but the blood vessels in the kidneys are thin, making it difficult for medicine to reach them. Once kidneys have deteriorated, it has been said that it is difficult to cure them.

Kidney Tech 3.0, which we are aiming for, is a new concept of preventing and preventing the worsening of kidney disease by detoxifying, absorbing, and excreting toxins that cause kidney disease. In this presentation, we will introduce our research on absorbing intestinal pollutants (ammonia, cholesterol, etc.).

We will develop various products using silk as a raw material and expand our business. The patented technology "Polymer Silk Fibroin Aqueous Solution" is, simply put, a protein called nanofibroin dissolved in water in a mesh-like structure. This nanostructure has the ability to adsorb various substances, and is known to adsorb waste products such as ammonia and cholesterol. In particular, its ammonia adsorption rate is extremely high compared to other adsorbents, boasting an adsorption rate of over 90%.

Furthermore, speaking of the kidneys, excessive protein intake is one of the adverse effects that can cause chronic kidney disease. In particular, excessive intake of protein or processed protein places a strain on the kidneys. Substances such as ammonia that are released when these are ingested pass from the intestines into the bloodstream and reach the kidneys.
